Frequently Asked Questions

Contacting Buzzy:

Where is Buzzy’s shop located, and can I visit?

Buzzy’s shop is located on Saint Helena Island in South Carolina. His shop is open to visitors with an appointment. All appointments can be made by sending an email request to buzbosworth@gmail.com.

What is the best way to contact Buzzy with a new project quote request?

The best way to contact Buzzy is to send him an email or call (843) 694-3437. Once Buzzy receives your email, or if you leave him a voicemail, he will respond back as soon as possible to set up a time for a phone call to go over the details.

I have an idea of what I want, but not exactly sure how to describe or translate it into a vision. Will Buzzy work with me to create exactly what I need?

Yes! Buzzy will help you translate your big idea into a tangible vision. He will ask you about the atmosphere you’re wanting to create in the space, roughly how big the work will be, and what colors are you looking to bring into the space.

For example: are you looking for a traditional, contemporary, or modern piece of furniture or sculpture?

Ordering and payment:

Is the work that Buzzy creates all one-of-a-kind?

Yes! Every piece of furniture, sculpture, and architectural detail is unique and crafted to the customer’s needs. No two pieces of furniture or sculpture are ever the same.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required upfront before the start of any project.

If I need to make changes to my order, or if something urgent comes up and I need to cancel, when is it too late?

Changes are very common and not a big deal if they happen before the material has been cut and sized.

If you need to cancel an order, you will need to send an email request. Once Buzzy receives your request, before the material is cut and sized, the project will be shut down and all parts will be boxed. Then, you will be billed for the time and materials put into the project up to that point if it exceeds the nonrefundable deposit.

Shop time and materials are expensive, we require an initial deposit to cover materials, and a portion of labor for a normal project. Each payment schedule is customized for each job.

What forms of payment does Buzzy accept?

Buzzy accepts cash, check, or wire transfers.

Custom Order Delivery:

How will my piece of furniture or sculpture be delivered?

Buzzy and his team will personally deliver the project.
